Due to the size of our house sharing property portfolio in Chelmsford, Essex we are generally able to cater for most requirements from a location point of view.
The majority of tenants often want to be located close to the centre of Chelmsford so that they can easily get to and from the main shopping area or train and bus station. The majority of our properties are within close proximity to the centre and often within 5-15 minutes walk. Being close to the town centre has its obvious advantages in terms of ease of getting around but often comes with the downside of minimal off-road parking or restricted parking on the road outside the property. We can however at all our town centre properties off some form of off-road parking or access to residential parking permits which are issued by Chelmsford Borough Council.
Roads close to the town centre where we have properties include Swiss Avenue, Prykes Drive, Cramphorn Walk, Bishop Road, Hillview Road and soon to be Railway Street.
We also have properties located in the Springfield and Chelmer Village parts of Chelmsford in roads called North Dell and Sutton Mead respectively. If you are not familiar with Chelmsford these areas are located in north-east Chelmsford. These locations are great for access to the A12 but are also on the major bus routes to bring you into the centre of Chelmsford also. There are also the major employment areas located in that part of town called Chelmer Retail Park and the Springfield Industrial Estate.
In the south-east part of Chelmsford is Moulsham Lodge/Great Baddow and here we have properties located in roads called Loftin Way and Fairway. This location is a bit of a longer walk into the town centre or a 10 minute bus ride but again provides good access to the A12. predominately a well established residential location these properties also come with excellent sized gardens.
To the northern part of Chelmsford is an area called Broomfield and this is where the main hospital is located. Recent expansion of the hospital has seen more jobs created in that location and also sees lots of subsidiary services such as Nursing homes and the Ambulance Service HQ located there as well. We have properties which are probably the closest house shares to the hospital in Chelmsford in a road called The Windmills.
On the north-west side of Chelmsford in between the town centre and Broomfield we have properties located in Sunrise Avenue and own Croft and these offer great access to the town or Broomfield along Broomfield Road (one of the main bus routes) and these properties are within about 20 minutes walk of the town centre but come with plenty of off and on road parking as well as gardens and in nice residential areas.
